The 22 MW Seti Khola hydropower project has begun test production in Musetoda, Kaski. According to myRepublica, commercial operations are expected to commence after a 15-day testing period starting July 5, 2026. Developed by Seti Hydro Power Pvt Ltd, the project represents a significant investment of Rs 5.5 billion. The capital structure is composed of 75% loans and 25% equity, with Dolma Impact Fund-2 holding a major stake. The plant is estimated to generate 133.43 GWh of electricity annually, which will be evacuated to the national grid through the 132 kV Lekhnath-Damauli transmission line.
