Kathmandu. Meta is preparing to launch a new social media network called ‘Threads’. According to the corporation, this app will be available for Android and iOS users starting next Thursday.
Previously, this software was available for pre-order on Apple’s app store. However, it will not be available to consumers until Thursday.
Threads have been compared to Twitter. This platform has been identified as a microblogging platform by Meta. A portion of the text-based software will be integrated into Instagram, with the entire version available in a separate app.
Instagram users will be able to register accounts on the new site using their Instagram handles and verification once the app is ready. Following that, the company stated that it will notify Instagram followers to follow them on the new network.
According to the different images and information that have surfaced, the style of the threads and the dashboard resembles Twitter. When the conflict between Twitter’s owner, Elon Musk, and Meta’s owner, Mark Zuckerberg, is discussed, the company plans to launch this platform.
