Nepal’s Department of Drug Administration (DDA) has initiated a nationwide operation against counterfeit asthma medication. Acting on complaints from manufacturer Cipla Ltd., the DDA seized large quantities of Seroflo Rotacaps 250 from wholesalers and retailers across key districts including Kathmandu and Rupandehi. Authorities confiscated specific batches from multiple distributors after identifying packaging irregularities. The DDA is conducting laboratory tests to determine the therapeutic efficacy of the seized products, ensuring market safety and consumer protection.
