The government of Nepal has completed its first 100 days in office, focusing on significant economic reforms and administrative modernization. According to *The Rising Nepal*, the administration repealed 15 irrelevant laws recommended by the High-Level Commission for Economic Reforms.
Key legislative measures include the approval of the Alternative Development Financing Law 2083 BS to attract private and foreign investment. Additionally, financial regulations were amended to delegate fund transfer authority to ministry secretaries, aiming to accelerate capital spending.
To counter rising fuel prices, a 50% discount on customs duties was implemented. The country also progressed toward exiting the FATF grey list, completing three of 15 required tasks. Furthermore, the government introduced digital systems for tax filing and pension verification, enhancing administrative efficiency.
